In October 2000 the Ulster Scots Folk Orchestra emerged from Fowkgates (collective of Ulster Scots performing artists) and since then regularly perform in Northern Ireland and often travel to Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and the USA. Four out of seven CD's featured on the Fowkgates label feature the Folk Orchestra (Planet Ulster, Endangered Species, Bringin It Thegither and My Aunt Jane)
